Our Creative Development Programme

'All Rise'  is a strand of the SessionsArts programme, providing professional creative skills development for local emerging artists and supporting the production of new creative work.

Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Arts Council England, so far All Rise has enabled artists from local company 'Creative Heights' to take part in an intensive workshop with Director Alex Harvey from the internationally acclaimed "Ockham's Razor" theatre company.

 

It has also provided local artist Alex Flanagan with the opportunity to research and develop a new street theatre show, incorporating our 'Fabuloso Organ'. Under Alex's creative direction the show has featured in the Festive Fabuloso tour and at other events nationally.

There have been 'Go and See' Opportunities to Mime Festival 2025 in London and a skills workshop programme including facilitators from Feet Off the Ground, Mishap Theatre, Theatre Re and Copperdollar. The skills participants learn in the sessions will feed into New Work which will be performed in 2025 at various events and festivals.

All Rise will continue through to March 2025. The long term aim is to produce touring work, utilising Spilsby Sessions House as a creative centre, and provide employment opportunities for locally based creative practitioners.

Currently new work is in development for touring locally in 2025.
